At Washateria, our neighborhood and our community are the heart of our company. We owe our success to the support and patronage of our community. We strive to give something in return by providing a clean, enjoyable space where friends and neighbors can hang out and do their laundry.

Our Community

Washateria is located in the South City area of St. Louis, Missouri, within the historic neighborhood of Fox Park. At Washateria, we enjoy a diverse customer base and strive to maintain a respectful environment with a strong community vibe. “Everyone who has come in has shown a real appreciation and respect for it,” said founder Timothy Rodgers. “I want Washateria to have an open feeling that customers have never experienced before. I want people to enjoy it and have a pleasant time while they’re here.”

About Fox Park

Located in South City between the Tower Grove East and McKinley Heights neighborhoods, Fox Park was settled by German immigrants in the early 1880s. The neighborhood is a Historic District anchored by the soaring 300-foot steeple of the St. Francis de Sales Oratory—a well-known landmark to the residents of South City.

Today, Fox Park remains an important part of the City of St. Louis’s fabric of diverse and viable neighborhoods. It features a wide range of historically significant homes and buildings. Plus, it is situated conveniently close to several South City area attractions. It’s located just minutes from Tower Grove Park and the Missouri Botanical Garden, downtown St. Louis, the South Grand shopping district, the Cherokee-Lemp Historic District and Antique Row, and more.

At Washateria, we are proud to call Fox Park home. Eventually, we hope to expand in order to bring our superior laundry services to other areas of St. Louis as well.
